Important COVID-19 Notice
Adult Softball Leagues are back, and we're currently taking registration for Spring 2022! See below for more details on schedules and registration. Please know that all dates and times of the leagues are subject to change based on official state and county guidance and the number of registered teams in each league.

ADULT SOFTBALL
We play four (4) Adult Softball leagues during the year: Spring, Early Summer, Late Summer, and Fall Double-Header. Divisions offered are Men’s C & D and Co-ed C & D. Games take place during the week (Monday-Thursday) from 6:20-9:20pm at Fair Oaks Park.
ADULT FLAG FOOTBALL
We are not able to offer Adult Flag Football at this time. We typically have three (3) Adult Flag Football leagues: Spring, Summer, and Fall. The league is a 7-on-7 passing league with games held on Friday evenings at Fair Oaks Park from 6:20-9:20pm.
Important COVID-19 Notice
Having met the criteria of fewer than 14 per 100,000 new COVID-19 cases, Sacramento County qualifies for specified CDPH guidance for youth and adult sports activities. Outdoor low-contact, moderate-contact, and high-contact sports are permitted with specific mitigation measures and requirements in the sports guidance. New! High ScHool Age Flag Football
The Fair Oaks Recreation & Park District is excited to bring you its first-ever 5-on-5 High School Age Flag Football League for ages 14-18! Games will be held on Saturday mornings starting May 1st. Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 6 games. Individual and team registration is available now ($60 per player) until our deadline of April 23rd! Don't miss out!

JR. nfl flag football
The Fair Oaks Recreation & Park District hosts the Jr. NFL Flag Football Program, the premier flag football league for boys and girls ages 5-14. The program teaches young athletes the fundamentals of football, good sportsmanship, and teamwork through practices and games. The goal of the program is to educate participants in the game of football as well as teach skills and lessons that help them succeed both on and off the field. Our league is held every year from August to November/December.
COMMUNITY PARTNER YOUTH SPORTS LEAGUES
Fair Oaks Lacrosse
The Northern California Junior Lacrosse Association (NCJLA) is the regional governing body and league in which the Fair Oaks Lacrosse Club participates. The Fair Oaks Lacrosse Club’s programs operate on volunteer efforts and are funded through participating families.
Fair Oaks/Orangevale Little League
The Fair Oaks/Orangevale Little League is a not-for-profit organization providing Little League Baseball for the Fair Oaks and Orangevale areas. Registration is open for the Spring or Fall for the the Spring Baseball season.
Fair Oaks Soccer Club
The Fair Oaks Soccer Club is a non-profit, community-based youth soccer program that offers the children of NE Sacramento a quality opportunity to participate in recreational and competitive soccer leagues.
American River Girls Softball
The American River Girls Softball Association (ARGSA) is a non-profit organization (#1848578 - formerly Orangevale and Fair Oaks Girls Softball Associations). It is supported solely by volunteers and self-funded through community support from local businesses and individuals.
Important COVID-19 Notice
Under guidelines from Sacramento County government and health officials, the District has been given the approval to reintroduce certain recreational programs in a phased manner and with necessary modifications in accordance with important social distance and safety requirements. We are now able to offer a variety of youth sports day camps as they become available. While many of our common youth sports offerings are still suspended, a number of options are currently available!

COMMON OFFERINGS
We offer a wide variety of fun, exciting athletics and adventure classes for kids of all ages to explore their interests, gain new skills, and build self-confidence! For in-depth details and how to register, visit our Youth Sports Classes page.
Tiny tot sports (3-5 yrs)
Taught by our energetic Recreation staff, Tiny Tot Sports includes T-Ball and Team Sports (T-Ball, Basketball, Flag Football, Soccer). Classes teach basic skills that focus on positive attitudes, teamwork, and fun in a non-competitive environment.
Kids Love Soccer (2-10 YRS)
Kids Love Soccer offers an exceptional, field-tested curriculum that incorporates imaginative games, skill demonstrations and scrimmages in a high-energy, motivating, and non-competitive environment. Our enthusiastic and experienced team of instructors love teaching kids and are great ambassadors for soccer and sports.
H.I.T.S. TENNIS (4-9 YRS)
H.I.T.S. (Honesty, Inspiration, Teamwork & Sportsmanship) is USTA’s premier beginners youth tennis program that incorporates the fundamentals of the sport while placing emphasis on life skill enrichment. Kids participate in fun activities and drills while learning the fundamentals of tennis in a safe and supportive environment.
Preschool Karate (4-6 YRS)
This SA Shotokan Karate class allows young students to gain ability, learn how to listen, follow instructions and focus. Children develop motor skills and learn fundamental karate movements in a fun, yet disciplined way.
LIL’ NINJA SKILLS CHALLENGE (3-5 YRS)
Kids will learn ninja skills through fun obstacle training that will prepare them for our exclusive lil’ ninja obstacle course!
SKYHAWKS BEGINNING GOLF CLINIC (4-9 YRS)
Boys and girls will learn the fundamental of swinging, putting and body positioning using the ShortGolf system to simplify instruction.
