To provide youth an opportunity to play and grow in a family-friendly environment.

The Fair Oaks Recreation & Park District believes that participation in youth sports and recreation builds positive self-esteem; promotes underlying values like sportsmanship, hard work, respect and camaraderie; and contributes to social, emotional, and physical development.

We aim to provide programs to young people of all backgrounds that emphasize participation, teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun, placing less emphasis on the competitive aspect of sports and focusing instead on the process of growing and learning together. We expect all participants, parents, and instructors to support this philosophy.

Important covid-19 Notice

Under guidelines from Sacramento County government and health officials, the District has been given the approval to reintroduce certain recreational programs in a phased manner and with necessary modifications in accordance with important social distance and safety requirements. We are now able to offer a variety of youth sports day camps as they become available.  While many of our common youth sports offerings are still suspended, a number of options are currently available!  We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
