(Persons who wish to speak on Public Hearing items listed on the agenda will be heard when the Public Hearing is opened, except for public hearing items previously heard and closed to public comment.  After the public has commented, the item is closed to further public comment and brought to the Board level for discussion and action.  Further comment from the audience will not be received unless requested by the Board.  No public hearing will commence after 9:00 P.M. unless approved by the majority of the Board of Directors.)

Discussion and Possible Action on Matters Related to FY 19-20 Recreation Fee Schedule Proposal.

Adopt Resolution No. 061919-01 revising the recreation fee schedule, approving new recreation fees and giving the District Administrator authority to waive or reduce program and facility rental fees.

  • Adopt Resolution No. 061919-04 approving the Preliminary Budget for the Phoenix Field Landscape and Lighting Assessment District (PFLL) for FY 2019-2020.
  • Adopt Resolution No. 061919-05 approving the Preliminary Budget for the Gum Ranch Landscape and Lighting Assessment District (GRLL) for FY 2019-2020.

Discussion and Possible Action on the Intent to Levy Assessments for Fiscal Year 2019/2020, and Provide Notice of Hearing on July 17, 2019 for the Fair Oaks Park Maintenance and Recreation Improvement District (FOLL), the Phoenix Field Landscape and Lighting Assessment District (PFLL) and the Gum Ranch Landscape and Lighting Assessment District (GRLL):

  • Adopt Resolution No. 061919-06 with the intent to levy assessments for FY 2019-20 Fair Oaks Parks Maintenance & Recreation Improvement District (FOLL), preliminarily approving the Engineer’s Report, and Providing for Notice of a Public Hearing on July 17, 2019 at 6:00 PM.
  • Adopt Resolution No. 061919-07 with the intent to levy assessments for FY 2019-20 Phoenix Field Landscape and Lighting Assessment District (PFLL), preliminarily approving the Engineer’s Report, and Providing for Notice of a Public Hearing on July 17, 2019 at 6:00 PM.
  • Adopt Resolution No. 061919-08 with the intent to levy assessments for FY 2019-20 Gum Ranch Landscape and Lighting Assessment District (GRLL), preliminarily approving the Engineer’s Report, and Providing for Notice of a Public Hearing on July 17, 2019 at 6:00 PM.

Discussion and Possible Action Regarding Possible New Playground Equipment at Miller Park.

Discussion and Possible Action Regarding Adoption of Resolution No. 061919-09: Audit Adjustments.

  • Adopt Resolution No. 061919-09 approving COMPASS entries rolling forward fund balance in the general ledger 341A and matching the balance sheet accounts to the audited financial statements as of 6/30/18, so all the adjustments reflect fiscal year 2017/2018 COMPASS balances.

Discussion and Possible Action on Approval of Grant Application for the California Parks and Recreation Society Statewide Healthy Play Funding Initiative Grant.
