The Fair Oaks Recreation & Park District invites you to attend the grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony of Gum Ranch Park Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 3PM-6PM!  This brand new park will feature brand new play structures for children of all ages, seating areas, walk paths, drinking fountains, restrooms, and covered BBQ picnic areas.  Gum Ranch Park will also be home to two new park features in Fair Oaks, including a splash pad and pickleball court!  Gum Ranch Park is nestled in a beloved area of the Fair Oaks community that used to be home to a local pumpkin patch owned by the Gum Family.  The construction and completion of this project was made possible by Elliot Homes and the Fair Oaks Recreation & Park District.

The District will host the event with live music by Kyle Ledson and giveaways to attendees while supplies last.  There will also be free mini Crumb Pies available while supplies last, with additional baked goods available for sale.  Community organizations will be hosting booths with fun, kid friendly activities.  The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will take place at 3:30PM, and a brief presentation will be given from our District Administrator, Mike Aho, as well as other appointed dignitaries.  Members in attendance will include District Staff, members of the District’s Board of Directors, County Officials, local organizations, and the community of Fair Oaks.  We encourage attendees to bring their family and friends to introduce this new park to the community.  Please contact (916) 966-1036 for more information.
