Christmas in the Village

EVENT UPDATE: Due to inclement weather conditions forecasted Friday through Sunday, the Fair Oaks Chamber of Commerce and event organizers regret to inform you that the 36th Annual Christmas in the Village event has been canceled. The Winnie the Pooh play at the Fair Oaks Clubhouse, presented by the Fair Oaks Theatre Festival will still take place, with a showing at 12:00pm and at 2:00pm. Free admission with a canned food donation. The Fair Oaks Recreation & Park District will turn the Christmas Tree lights on beginning Friday, December 6th at approx. 5:30pm. The tree will remain lit through the New Year (after dusk daily). Bundle up and enjoy an evening of old fashioned holiday activities for the whole family! Fair Oaks Recreation & Park District is a proud sponsor of Christmas in the Village and host of Fair Oaks Holiday Tree Lighting and Festival of Trees.  Event is RAIN or SHINE. Event will include: lighting of the Fair Oaks Holiday Tree, Festival of Trees display, parade, wreath and yule log decorating workshops, craft vendors, pictures with Santa, and much more.
